7D Hollow fiber has better properties than solid fiber, due to hole in the single fiber which traps air and provides loft, bounce, and insulation. This enables the fiber use in many various applications. Because there is no twist in the fiber (as in Conjugated Fiber) Hollow fiber is mainly used for Fiber-fill applications in pillows and cushions. The fiber is easily carded and good at bonding with low-melt fiber. It is available in harsh or soft feel, with further application of siliconised, or non siliconised depending on the use requirements of client.
